MY GENEALOGY LINKED LIST:

Gregory Arthur Swartz
Warren Arthur Swartz
Bonnie Eleen Noland
Victor Warren Swartz
Charlotte Blanche Cross
Frank Aaron Noland
Bertha Amelia Wurth

The above sapling (small genealogical tree) represents my immediate family. Luckily, I knew all four of my grandparents, though my maternal grandfather, Frank Noland, died when I was but seven years old. Unfortunately, as I update this page, everyone on the sapling is now deceased except me. In order to fit my earlier genealogy onto the internet, I have divided my tree into four groups named after each of my grandparents. So, the ancestors of each of my grandparents can be found at the following links: Swartz, Noland, Cross and Wurth.

The Swartz name is German, the Noland name is Irish, the Cross name is English and the Wurth name is Swiss or Prussian, though each of these trees contains many persons of other country ancestry. I guess if you were to classify me in a current politically correct manner, I would be considered European-American.

My paternal great-grandfather acquired the Swartz name after he emigrated to the United States from Germany in 1870. The earliest Noland came to North America in the latter 1600s and several of my Noland ancestors fought in the Revolutionary War. Long ago, my Noland tree merged with the Smallwood tree. The original Smallwood came from England. The original Cross came from England to North America in the 1600s as well, although I have not been able to establish clear links to the Crosses of that time. My maternal grandmother's parents came from Switzerland and Prussia in the late 1800s.

I live in Jackson County, Missouri, and know exactly where the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution believes my great-great-great-great-great-grandfather is buried in Jackson County, so I guess I am an 8th generation Jackson Countian.

This is a work in progress, so keep checking back. If you want something included on this page let me know. Or, if you wish to contribute something, let me know, also.

Thanks!!!! And, of course, Peace and Love to ALL!!!!
